The SAT dumbed down considerably what with eliminating analogies (high g loading, hard to study for) with vocab. Lower g loading, easier to study. On the math side, they got rid of thinky algebra and word problems and replaced them with fairly simple, rote trig problems. The test is much easier to game/study for now because ETS wanted it that way.
